What happens after my free trial?
When your 14-day trial ends, we’ll ask you to choose a plan. If you’d rather wait, your account simply moves to our Free tier — five stories a month, no surprise charges, ever.
Can I change or cancel my plan anytime?
Yes. Upgrade, downgrade, or cancel from your account settings in a couple of clicks. Upgrades take effect immediately, downgrades at the end of your billing period — and we’ll prorate the difference.
Do you offer student or educator discounts?
We do. Students and educators get 40% off Reader and Pro with a verified school email address. Verify once and the discount renews automatically each year.
Can I gift a subscription?
Absolutely. Gift cards are available for 3, 6, and 12 months of Reader or Pro, delivered by email on the date you choose — with a personal note if you’d like.
Is content available offline?
Yes. Reader plans and above can save any story or audio edition for offline reading in our iOS and Android apps. Downloads sync automatically and stay available while your subscription is active.
How do family or team plans work?
One bill covers up to five members, and everyone gets their own private account, bookmarks, and recommendations. You can add or remove members anytime from your dashboard.
What payment methods do you accept?
All major credit and debit cards, PayPal, Apple Pay, and Google Pay. Annual plans can also be paid by invoice for teams and organizations.
How is my data protected?
Your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and we never sell it to third parties. We’re fully GDPR and CCPA compliant, and you can export or delete your data anytime from settings.
